BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
It is the responsibility of each guest to read the terms and conditions of your booking. Your booking is bound by these terms. Payment of Deposit to Sheenco Travel signifies acceptance of the following terms and conditions;
Passage to Ireland:
Sheenco Travel is an incoming tour operator providing a ‘land only’ service. Sheenco Travel therefore is not responsible for passenger travel into or out of the state of Ireland. Sheenco Travel may sell airline tickets as part of an affiliate program but all responsibility for the sale of the airline rests with the licensed agent. Sheenco Travel will not be responsible for any delays, cancellations or other hindrance of passage to Ireland.
Deposits & Payments:
For bookings made more than 12 weeks before departure, a non-refundable 25% deposit of the land-cost total is required. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to departure. There are certain exceptions to these deposit requirements for certain products and they are listed below. If full payment is not received, reservations will automatically cancel and deposit payment become forfeit. No travel documents or confirmation numbers will be e-mailed out until full payment has been received. We are pleased to accept payment by Visa and MasterCard. Payments by Discover and American Express will incur an additional service fee of 2%. We can also accept checks and wire transfers. Bookings made within 30 days of arrival must be paid in full by wire transfer. In this case Sheenco Travel will supply bank details to process payment by wire transfer.
Package tour dates are not guaranteed. Should tour suppliers cancel the itinerary prior to arrival Sheenco Travel will offer the next available date at no additional land cost. If this is not acceptable, a full refund of the cost of the tour will be made. Sheenco Travel cannot accept responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to such a package booking. If you purchase a non-refundable airline ticket, ensure that you understand the conditions under which the ticket is issued, as Sheenco Travel is not responsible for any cancellation penalties due to non-refundable airfares.
General Cancellation Fees:
Up to 10 weeks before date of arrival – loss of deposit
Between 9 to 3 weeks before arrival – 50%
less than 3 weeks – 100%
Sheenco Travel recommend you purchase travel insurance for your vacation and will be pleased to advise you of products to suit your chosen package.
You will be charged, an amendment fee of $30 (“Amendment Fee”) by Sheenco Travel for all permitted passenger-initiated changes made, after receipt of deposit or full payment by Sheenco Travel. Hotels, Car Rental companies, Coach Hire etc. may charge additional fees for changes or cancellation. Changes to or cancellation of part or all of your travel package must be notified to Sheenco Travel in writing before we can make any changes or cancellations.
Travel Documents including confirmation numbers will be emailed 21 days in advance of departure date.
Unused package arrangements:
Sheenco Travel cannot make refunds or exchanges for unused accommodations, services or features of any package unless agreed upon prior to departure. Claims or disputes should be submitted to Sheenco Travel in writing no later than 28 days after the end of the tour.
Sheenco Travel is not responsible for mechanical breakdowns, government actions, weather, acts of God, misconnections or related expenses to/from flights or other circumstances beyond its control. To guard against unforeseen circumstances, we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
Sheenco Travel will not be in a position to reimburse or compensate for lost travel arrangements due to your arrival into Ireland/Britain being delayed beyond your scheduled arrival date because of delay or cancellation by the air carrier. We recommend that the Guest purchase Trip Insurance to protect against this.
Reservations will be secured on receipt of your deposit. It is the Guests responsibility to notify Sheenco Travel if they are in breach of any of the car rental company’s terms & conditions. See separate Terms and Conditions for the Car Rental shown at the end of this document.
Please Note the Car Rental Company will require a credit card imprint when you are picking up your car to cover any excess (deductible), fuel deposit etc. All our Car rentals include all compulsory insurance, unlimited mileage, and all taxes. There are no hidden costs or taxes but all car rental companies will offer additional optional insurances at the point of pick up. One Way Fees will also apply if you pick up or drop off your car rental at any location other than Dublin. This and any optional insurances or other optional extras (additional driver(s), car seats, GPS, etc) will be billed directly to you by the car rental company.
Reservations will be secured on receipt of your deposit. Sheenco Travel will book the hotels requested by the Guest but will offer an alternative of the same standard as close as possible to the location requested if the Guest’s first choice is not available. Where the first choice of accommodation is not available and the alternative offered is not suitable the booking deposit/payment on your hotel accommodation is refundable.
Chauffeur Driven Tours
Reservations will be secured on receipt of your deposit. All Chauffeur Driven Tours include vehicle rental, insurance, gas, driver’s expenses, all taxes and fees. Gratuity not included. Optional extra costs to be covered by guest include tolls, ferries and parking costs. Driver/Guides are available for 8 hours per day in accordance with Irish law with a minimum overnight rest period of 11 hours.
Escorted Coach Tours:
Reservations will be secured on receipt of your deposit. Once your place on the tour is confirmed any cancellation or change will be subject to cancellation penalties or change fees. Please specify preferred room type at time of booking. Sheenco Travel reserve the right to change any tour itinerary as required.
Sheenco Travel, is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage or other loss a guest incurs on any travel (organized by Sheenco Travel), arising from acts or omissions by any air carrier, public transport company, hotel, car rental company, subcontractor or other person or organization, whether or not such company is rendering any services supplied to Sheenco Travel. All tickets and vouchers are issued and supplied subject to the foregoing and to any and all terms and conditions under which transportation and services are provided. Sheenco Travel accepts no responsibility for losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedules, flight cancellations due to mechanical problems, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine or other causes. Customers must bear all such losses or expenses.
Guests contract with Sheenco Travel is subject exclusively to and is governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of the countries they are visiting (Ireland/Britain) and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of those countries (Irish/Britain) courts.

Clients are allowed 29 minutes grace period.
Optional (charged directly to client upon pick-up, amounts are at the discretion of the car rental company. All rates are approximate and subject to change)
- Additional Drivers: EUR 9.50/day/driver
- Driver & Baggage Protection : EUR 5.50 per day / EUR 38.50 per week
- Excess CDW Waiver (see Note 2):
- Groups A, B & E: 14.50 EUR/day
- Groups C, D, F, G & P: 18.50 EUR/day
- Groups I, S, M, N, V, T, J, Y, W: 20.50 EUR/day
- One-way rentals between Dublin Airport and Downtown Dublin are complimentary
- One-way rentals between these and/or any other Locations in the Republic of Ireland will incur a fee of EUR70
- Republic of Ireland to Northern Ireland 160 EUR
- Young Driver Fee (23/24): 26 EUR/day (see Note 3)
- Baby/Booster seats 40/15 EUR per hire, 100 EUR charge if not returned. 6 mo’s to 11 yrs.
- GPS rental 10 EUR/day
- A ” No barrier tolling ” system is now in operation on the Dublin M50 Motorway between junction 6 ( N3 Blanchardstown ) and Junction 7 ( N4 Lucan ).All Hertz vehicles have been registered with the Toll Operator and therefore Hertz will be automatically for each toll incurred. A Toll Fee of EUR 3.00 per usage will be charged directly to the customer on their credit card.
- Cash payment facilities are available at tolling booths on all other toll roads in Ireland – renter is responsible for payment.
Note 1 – CDW Limits and Terms
Standard CDW (included) reduces your financial liability for damage caused to the vehicle from the full value of the vehicle to the value of the excess which is as follows.
EUR € 1600 for car groups A & B
EUR € 2000 for car groups C, D, E & F
EUR € 2500 – for groups G, P, S, T, V & W
EUR € 3000 – for groups I, M & N

Note 2 – Excess Waiver
Super Cover: Damage Excess can be reduced to Zero by purchasing an additional product called Super Cover (SDW). Clients must be 30 years plus to purchase SDW & must pay by credit card. Some items are not included in SDW – Tyres, Wheels, Keys or fuel.

Note 3 – Age Requirements
The minimum age limit for drivers is 23 years. A fee will apply to drivers under the age of 25 years. 23/24 yrs, groups A, B & E only. Damage excess will be an amount of EUR 2,000. 25 yrs, groups A, B, C, E & F only. 27 yrs add groups D, G & P, 30 yrs + add groups I, S, W, M, N, V & T
Maximum Age:Customers aged over 75 years can rent with specific conditions as follows;
- Must drive on a regular basis
- Provide a letter from your doctor to state you have been in good health for at least 12 months.
- Provide a letter from your insurance company to state you have not had an accident in the last 5 years, that you hold a current policy of motor insurance with them and that you are currently driving.
