Travel Ireland At Your Own Pace
The island is small enough to drive across in a day, which is the fastest way to see nothing. The changes between regions are abrupt: forty minutes in a car and the light, the stone and the accent all shift. Head southwest and the city of Dublin falls behind as you cross the flatness of the Curragh, then the mountains in Tipperary, and on to the rich farmlands of Limerick and Kerry.
The wildest of it runs along the western edge, where old, worn mountains come down almost to the water, from Donegal to West Cork.
We arrange private travel across Ireland that reaches past the standard route. A table at a cottage restaurant with a six-month waitlist, a private tour of a castle collection closed to the public, a driver-guide who knows which pub in Dingle still pours a slow one, and a flight arranged when the next stop is better seen from the air than the road.

What defines a trip to Ireland with Sheenco
- Access to Ireland’s grandest houses runs through relationships built over years, where knowing which room to ask for matters as much as the address. Ashford Castle is one we return to often. Glin Castle, on the Shannon estuary in County Limerick, is not a hotel at all: the house goes in full, to one party at a time, and it needs notice.
- Ireland’s championship links draw a particular kind of guest, Royal County Down and Ballybunion chief among them, and we arrange tee times at each with the same attention, the transfer between them handled by road or by air as the distance calls for it. Tee-time release runs to a schedule and we work to it.
- Most distillery visits are a scheduled tour. Ours are booked ahead and timed to be quiet, and where we know the distiller it can be an appointment instead. We’ll tell you which whiskeys to ask for, which distilleries are worth the drive and which are a visitor center, and because someone else is driving you can taste all of them.
Ireland, Beyond the Expected
While Ireland’s highlights are well known, how you experience them makes all the difference.
Yes, you may stand at the Cliffs of Moher or travel the Ring of Kerry — but you will do so at the right time, in the right way, and as part of a journey that feels considered rather than rushed.
Beyond this, we guide you further.
Into Connemara’s quieter landscapes, through the villages and estates that don’t appear on standard itineraries, and into experiences shaped by local relationships — not just availability.
Where You Stay Matters
Accommodation is not an afterthought.
From exceptional five-star hotels to historic castles and privately owned estates, every stay is chosen to complement your journey — both in location and in character.
