What has been your most memorable vacation?
My most memorable vacation was a trip to Disneyland in California with my son, it was the ultimate childhood dream come true, for both of us. There’s something undeniably magical about experiencing “the happiest place on earth” through the eyes of your child. Every ride, every character meet-and-greet, every bite of churro, it was pure joy from start to finish. It reminded me why I love what I do: travel can be transformative and deeply emotional, especially when it connects generations.
What is your favorite place to visit?
That’s a tough one; I have a few favorites depending on the vibe! In the U.S., I love New Orleans for its unbeatable food scene, music, and culture. In the Middle East, Dubai never disappoints, ultramodern luxury with rich traditions woven in. And in Europe, London is a classic for good reason: history, fashion, theatre, and diverse cuisine all in one buzzing city. Each place offers a completely different experience, and I always come back inspired.
What do you do outside of work?
I keep busy with the things that bring me joy and purpose. I’m a big foodie and love trying new cuisines and restaurants; Toronto makes that very easy! I’m also an avid reader and always have a book on the go. Giving back is important to me, so I volunteer with a women and children’s shelter and also support refugee programs for those fleeing conflict. And of course, my favorite role is being a mom. My son has already been to seven countries, three provinces, and five states; we’re raising a little globetrotter!
Why do you love traveling?
Travel brings out a freer, more fun version of me. I met my husband and many of my closest friends while traveling, so it has truly shaped the course of my life. As the eldest of 18 siblings (yes, you read that right!), I come from a huge, tight-knit family, and I love how travel helps bring people together in unforgettable ways. For me, planning travel isn’t just about logistics, it’s about curating moments people will carry with them forever.
