In the meantime we asked her a few questions to get to know her better.
Tell me about yourself!
I was born and raised right outside of Denver, Colorado spending most of my childhood outside exploring. I received a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in management. Since graduating I have moved to Florida and recently bought a house with my husband. I have worked in the hospitality industry for most of my life now. Nothing makes me happier than helping people fulfill their goals and/or dreams. Being able to be a part of someone’s special moment is one of my favorite things.
What has been your most memorable vacation?
My most memorable vacation was not really a vacation but in the spring of 2019, I studied abroad in Japan. There is no place like Japan, everything is so different which is the main reason I chose to study abroad there. I like to be challenged and living there was definitely a challenge but it changed me for the better. It gave me so much confidence to feel as though I can accomplish anything. My favorite place there was Tokyo and I ate lots & lots of ramen. I am also fortunate to be able to go to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico every year and I love it there!
What do you like to do besides work and travel?
I love to keep busy so I am always trying to find things that make me happy. One of my favorite things is going to music festivals. Getting to go listen to some of your favorite music for a few days straight is such a fun time. I also have been acting since I was a little girl. I am in a few shows and movies, even on Hulu. I believe everyone should have a hobby they are passionate about and that is mine. My family still lives in Colorado, so I also love going back home to spend time with them.
What is your favorite city?
There is so many to choose from but one I instantly fell in love with and cant wait to visit again is Edinburgh, Scotland. It’s like taking a step back in time in the best possible way. I’ve never been to a city that mixed present day with history so well. Everyone was extremely nice there as well. Every restaurant I went into everyone wanted to talk and I loved that. It is also so easy to get around the city, very walkable. They also have double-decker buses, who doesn’t love that?! I cannot suggest this city enough and will be back very soon!
