Tell me about yourself!
My name is Staci and I am based in Atlanta and currently live in Buenos Aires. My interest in the world and in traveling began at a very young age, when I planned my family’s Disney trip at the age of seven. I took my first trip abroad at the age of 20 when I studied Spanish for a study abroad trip in Valencia, Spain. Since then, I have traveled to over 35 countries and counting! I recently decided to make my love of travel and seeing the world into a career so I could help other people have incredible adventures.
What’s your most memorable vacation?
It’s super hard to pick my memorable trip, but I would have to say it would be Iceland. I spent six months in Iceland in 2017 and while I was there I traveled all over the country and saw a lot of very unique nature. While the nature was stunning and the culture of Iceland was very captivating, the highlight of my trip was definitely seeing the northern lights. I hope to go back to Iceland one day soon in July as I arrived in August and so I didn’t get to witness the true midnight sun last time. It truly is a magical place.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I usually like to go outside and explore whatever city I happen to be living in. I also like to study Spanish and now speak Spanish at a B1 level. Once I master Spanish, I plan on moving onto Portuguese or Icelandic! I also like to go to Expat meet up groups and meet fellow travelers as well as go sightsee. Other than that, I like to read and learn about anything that catches my interest.
Do you have a favorite place to visit?
As for a favorite place to visit, I have to say that this is my second time back in Buenos Aires and it really is a place that feels like home. It feels very similar to Spain here, but is much closer to the USA. It’s a huge city with 10 million people and there’s always things to do. This time I’m in Argentina, I’m also planning on taking a trip down to Ushuaia, which is the most southern town in the world.
