What’s your most memorable vacation?
One of my most unforgettable vacations was a 10-day family getaway to The Fairmont Mayakoba. It was an all-inclusive experience where we explored the breathtaking beauty of Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Cozumel. I traveled with my son, parents, and sister, making it even more special. Every day was an adventure—from visiting ancient ruins and swimming in cenotes to relaxing on pristine beaches. It was the perfect balance of culture, nature, and quality time with my loved ones, creating lifelong memories that I will always cherish.
Ever since that trip, Playa del Carmen has become a yearly tradition for us. My family and I have completely fallen in love with the Riviera Maya and everything it has to offer. From the stunning beaches to the incredible food, rich culture, and endless activities, it’s a destination that keeps calling us back. Traveling is a big part of my life, and I especially love sharing these experiences with my family.
One of my favorite nearby escapes is Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico’s premier wine region. It’s a hidden gem that feels like a little piece of Tuscany, but with its own unique charm. Every visit is a new experience, whether we’re enjoying world-class wine tastings at boutique vineyards, indulging in incredible meals at top-notch farm-to-table restaurants, or taking in the breathtaking landscapes of rolling hills and vineyards. The food scene is truly outstanding—many of the restaurants are helmed by innovative chefs who blend local ingredients with global culinary influences. Beyond wine and food, there are also fun activities like olive oil tastings, hiking, and even hot air balloon rides. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy unforgettable moments with friends and family.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I absolutely love living in San Diego—it offers the best of everything! Whether it’s spending a relaxing day at the beach, heading to the mountains to enjoy the snow, or exploring one of the many incredible museums, there’s always something exciting to do.
I also have a deep passion for cooking, and I love experimenting with new flavors and cuisines. I enjoy going out to restaurants and trying different types of food, whether it’s discovering a hidden gem in my city or indulging in authentic dishes while traveling. Exploring new flavors is an adventure in itself!
Reading and listening to audiobooks are also big parts of my life; I especially enjoy classical literature and horror novels, as they transport me to different worlds and perspectives. Another creative outlet of mine is social media marketing—I love brainstorming and designing marketing campaigns for my friends, helping them bring their ideas to life. And, of course, traveling is something I truly enjoy, whether it’s discovering new places or revisiting favorites, especially when I’m with my fiancé and family.
Do you have a favorite place to visit?
My absolute favorite city is San Miguel de Allende. There’s something truly magical about it—the vibrant culture, stunning architecture, rich history, and artistic atmosphere create an energy that’s hard to describe. Every visit feels like a homecoming, and I always leave feeling inspired and refreshed. The cobblestone streets, colorful colonial buildings, and lively plazas make it a dream destination, and I have no doubt that one day, it will become my forever home.
That said, I also have a deep love for Arizona, especially the Grand Canyon. Its vastness, breathtaking views, and sheer natural beauty never fail to amaze me. Every time I visit, I feel a sense of peace and wonder, as if I’m standing in the presence of something truly timeless. Arizona’s unique landscapes, from the red rocks of Sedona to the desert’s golden sunsets, make it one of my favorite places to explore and reconnect with nature.
