Tell me about yourself!
I’ve lived in Connecticut for my entire life, and can proudly say there isn’t a major trail here I haven’t hiked. Unless I’m working, you can always find me outside, fly fishing, hiking, or exploring in general. I acquired my Associate’s degree in 2018, and have spent my entire career in customer service, and helping people is one of my greatest joys in life. Anything I can do to make someone’s day that much more special, means a lot to me!
What was your most memorable vacation?
That would definitely be my honeymoon trip I took with my husband in 2020! We stayed in an amazing little stone manor, and hiked the hardest trail to the summit of Mount Washington, just a day before it closed for the year! I’m still left awestruck when I remember standing on the edge of the mountain, watching where the river flowed, above the clouds! It was all the more memorable that a snow storm decided to kick up when we were getting ready to climb back down. There really is nothing better than a beautiful landscape. The rest of the trip we enjoyed various local restaurants, several fly fishing trips, and of course, a horse back riding tour!
What do you like to do outside of work or travel?
I love doing anything outside! I love gardening, I love hiking, as I’m sure you’ve guessed by now. I’ve hiked all over, and I’m hoping soon to take on the Appalachian trail. Another of favorite things has got to be fly fishing with my Dad and husband. We got together at least twice a week all season long and spend hours on the river. I do love reading all sorts of books, I’d have to say any of the works of J.R.R Tolkien, or the short and hilarious stories of Patrick McManus are my favorites!
Do you have a favorite place to visit?
Oh absolutely! Though, it does change occasionally the more I explore, right now I’d have to say North Conway, New Hampshire. The views are stunning, there’s abundant rivers, no shortage of amazing hiking, and so many unique and beautiful experiences. I never miss coming to this bustling ski town, and we vacation here at least once year at Stonehurst Manor!
